— translated directly from the original languages: Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek

• original for the New Testament: Accepted Text (Textus Receptus)
— out of respect for God's name, the four letter YHVH is translated as LORD
• it is translated in the same way in the Greek translation of the Old Testament, the Septuagint
• this way of translating God's name was followed by all traditional translations into world languages
• since vowels are not written in the Hebrew language, God's name is unknown: "Jehova" is incorrect and "Yahve" arbitrary
